Good bread deserved a little more.
A warm muffin. A flaky croissant. A freshly toasted bagel. We loved them all, but wanted more ways to make each bite our own: a little sweetness, a savory twist, a change from the same familiar spread.
For Bread’s Sake grew out of that simple need. We wanted an easy way to sweeten or vary the flavor of everyday baked goods, without turning breakfast or snack time into another recipe. Flavored butter was the delicious answer.
